Weddings
Not invited!

My cousin was getting married (again!). Let's call her 'M'.
M. told us that it was going to be a very small do - as her fiance did not want to meet any of her family (and she thought he was normal?!)
She told us that it was just going to be her mother and her son (from a previous marriage), her finace's parents and sister - and that was all.
We were disappointed not to be attending but thought, 'good luck to her' (and her dumb fiance).
A month later my wife was at M's mother's house and noticed an invitation to the wediing still on her mantlepiece. The invitation indicated that M's wedding was actually a big do - with dinner, dancing, speeches - and probably petite fours as well!
Not only weren't we invited - but she lied about it as well.
My wife told M. that we had seen the invitation...
Needless to say, we've hardly spoken to M. since.
